DC KIDS MINISTRY

Safety and Security are a top priority for us at DC Kids Ministry. Each volunteer is required to complete a background check before serving in this ministry. We also have a security check- in system for all children birth through 5th grade.

WHAT IS DC KIDS?

DC Kids Ministry is for children birth through 5th grade. We agree with the scripture in 3 John 4 that says, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” Based on this truth, our goal is to help kids:

Discover Christ (know Jesus)

Develop Character (be like Jesus)

Display Compassion (share Jesus)

AWANA for ages 2 years - 5th grade

WHAT IS AWANA?

Awana is a scripture memory Discipleship Program for children ages 2 years through 5th grade. Each club uses scripture and age appropriate activities to encourage boys and girls to memorize and apply God’s Word.

Whether it is Puggles (2 and 3 year olds), Cubbies (3 and 4 year olds), Sparks (K-2nd grade), or T&T (3rd - 5th grade) each child enjoys large group time, small group time and games (K-5th) or outside playtime for preschoolers.
