Randy Huckabee

Senior Pastor

Randy Huckabee has been serving in ministry for the past forty years.  He has served churches in North Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana and Florida.  He has called Florida home since 1994.  He came to Dade City as the Lead Pastor in September, 2013.  Prior to arriving here, Randy served as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Okeechobee for 13 years. He is married to Carlene Griffin of Charlotte, NC and they have two children, Aaron and Abigail.

Aaron is married to Tiffany and they have three children; Adelyn, Anastyn and Jack.  Abigail is married to Kyle Wellinghurst and they have two children; Chloe and Noah. Carlene and Randy have a passion to see couples and individuals come to understand who they are in Christ and live free in His grace and love.  Randy serves in the Pasco Baptist Association and is also an officer of the Florida Baptist Convention for the past 14 years.  He has a heart for missions and the Florida Baptist Children's Home as he leads First Baptist to be one of the lead supporters of this vital ministry.

Randy has been on numerous mission trips and loves sharing Christ with those who have not heard the Good News.  He graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with his Master's of Divinity and a Doctor of Theology degree from International Seminary of Plymouth, Florida.  He enjoys road cycling, golf, alligator trapping and bear hunting.
