Our vision:
The vision of DF student ministry is to partner with families to help students KNOW HIM and MAKE HIM KNOWN.
“For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bondservants on account of Jesus” - 2 Corinthians 4:5
“These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up. You shall also tie them as a sign to your hand, and they shall be as frontlets on your forehead. You shall also write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” - Deuteronomy 6:6-9
Our values:
Belonging | We want each student that walks through our doors to feel known, loved, and cared for. We want them to know that within our group, there are both students and leaders who care about them and notice when they don’t show up.
Discipleship | Through services, life change, and connect groups, we desire to help students become disciples of Jesus that make disciples of Jesus.
Biblically Sound | Our ministry aims to help students learn how to study their Bible, how to pray, how to serve, and how to share the gospel.
Fun | When students walk into our ministry, we want them to have a good time, feel comfortable, be with friends, and make memories.
WEEKLY EVENTS
Sundays: Connect Groups
Upstairs | 9:45 am - 10:45 am | Middle and High School
We believe every student needs a small community of consistent friends and leaders that are challenging them to connect with God, a biblical community, and a caring adult so they can develop an everyday faith. Our student ministry accomplishes this through Connect Groups - a small biblical community where students can be themselves, share doubts, ask questions, and admit struggles. These small groups are led by adults who desire to see each of their students KNOW HIM and MAKE HIM KNOWN.
Wednesdays: Midweek
Worship Center | 6-8 pm | Middle and High School
The messages are constructed to minister to students and challenge them to know Him and make Him known. Our worship time is led by our Student Worship Team. We’ve created a large group environment that is designed for students to have fun with friends, engage in worship and biblical teaching, and belong to a community of students.
